Artist Statement
I create photos and films focused on the natural world. This image is a story. Our origins in the cosmos intersect with the falls while the current carries our future out of frame into the unknown. Saturn and Jupiter, make a cameo as the two bright points of light in the center of the frame – hostile environments that serve as testament to our unique circumstance. A reminder that Earth is all we have and indeed worth preserving, protecting and appreciating. Gray Eagle Falls, Plumas County, CA.
